Privacy Policy

Effective date: 22 August 2026 · Applies to templateselection.com and all Template Selection services.

1. Who we are

Template Selection is a sole-trader business operated from Australia (Victoria). We run the digital template curation service at templateselection.com. Contact: support@templateselection.com.

2. Information we collect

We only collect the minimum needed to deliver your order:

  • Email address - provided at checkout, used to email your download link.
  • Order metadata - timestamp, amount, bundle size selected. Stored in our database with an opaque reference ID.
  • Support conversations - if you email us, we keep the thread to reply and resolve.

What we do NOT collect: payment card details (handled entirely by our payment processor on its PCI-compliant infrastructure; we never see them), IP address for tracking purposes, browser fingerprints, behavioural analytics.

3. How we use it

Your email address is used only to:

  • Send the bundle download link after payment
  • Reply to support requests you initiate
  • Send refund confirmations if you request a refund

We do not send marketing email. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address with any third party for advertising or promotional purposes.

4. Third-party processors

We use the following third parties to run the service. Each has their own privacy policy governing their handling of your data:

  • Creem (Armitage Labs OU, Estonia) - acts as our merchant of record. Creem collects card payments in its own name, issues the invoice, calculates and remits applicable indirect taxes, and handles refunds and chargebacks. Your payment-related personal data is processed by Creem under its own Privacy Notice at creem.io/privacy and Buyer Terms at creem.io/buyer-terms.
  • Resend - sends delivery and support emails. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Google Fonts - loads typography assets (Manrope, Noto Serif, Open Sans) at page render time. Your IP is visible to Google's CDN for the duration of the font fetch. See developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.
  • Cloudflare - fronts the site, terminates TLS, and serves static assets from its CDN. Your IP is visible to Cloudflare for the duration of the request. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

5. Cookies

templateselection.com does not set tracking cookies, does not use Google Analytics, and does not run any third-party advertising scripts.

6. Data retention

We split retention by category:

  • Transaction records (order id, amount, tax, date, buyer email) - retained for 7 years after the transaction, in accordance with Australian tax law and Creem's merchant-of-record record-retention obligations.
  • Order fulfilment metadata (download tokens, delivery status) - retained for 90 days after delivery, then permanently deleted.
  • Support conversations - retained for as long as the thread is active plus 30 days after final resolution.

Deletion requests under Section 7 (Your rights) apply to fulfilment metadata and support conversations. Transaction records must be retained to meet tax and audit obligations and cannot be deleted on request within the 7-year window.

7. Your rights

You may at any time:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Request correction of any inaccurate data
  • Request deletion (right to be forgotten) - we will purge your records within 5 business days
  • Object to any processing you consider unlawful

To exercise any right, email support@templateselection.com from the address you used at checkout.

8. International transfers

Our third-party processors (Creem, Resend, Google Fonts, and Cloudflare) operate globally and may process your data outside Australia. Each maintains appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions where applicable) for cross-border data transfer.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all site traffic. Payment card details never touch our servers. Database access is restricted to authorised personnel. Download tokens are 192-bit cryptographic random strings with 7-day expiry and 3-use maximum.

10. Children

Template Selection is a B2B service intended for freelancers, agencies, and small businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us immediately for removal.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "effective date" at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated by email where technically feasible.

12. Governing law

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising from it is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
